To mark Stress Awareness Month Ushvani are holding two unique well-being yoga workshops. Each workshop is designed to equip guests with the knowledge and practical skills to embrace life’s challenges, becoming more productive and balanced.

Stress Awareness is a national health campaign designed and facilitated by healthcare professionals. The campaign aims to develop and implement stress management techniques and raise awareness of stress related illness.
Over recent years stress management has become a significant aspect of maintaining optimum health. As the uncertainties and demands of modern living become more pervasive there is a need now more than ever for effective and simple techniques to manage the challenges of modern life.
Spring Renewal Vinyasa Flow Yoga Workshop

This dynamic Workshop is led by expert practitioner Deepa and designed to bring the core elements of Vinyasa philosophy into one seamless practise. Spring Renewal invites guests to explore the benefits of traditional Vinyasa Yoga combined with modern stress management techniques. This highly effective workshop begins with an informative presentation regarding Cognitive and Physical renewal through Asana (posture) and Pranayama (breathing). Guests will receive detailed information regarding the benefits of consistent Yoga practise to restore the body at a cellular level. This workshop includes a complete Vinyasa posture and breathing sequence, with an emphasis on Renewal and Relaxation. The workshop is completed with a calming meditation sequence.
Discover Mindfulness Workshop

Ushvani are delighted to announce the launch of their monthly Mindfulness and Meditation Workshops with expert practitioner Emma. Over recent years mindfulness has become an integral part of mainstream wellbeing. Studies have proven that regular meditation practise is highly effective in reducing stress and chemical imbalance in the body. Discover Mindfulness is designed to provide guests with the specific tools and knowledge to implement stress reduction meditation techniques into their daily routine. The workshop will take place in the tranquil surroundings of the Sentosa Studio.

Vinyasa Restore Yoga Class Stress Awareness

On Tuesday 16th April the usual weekly Vinyasa Class will focus on stress management techniques in aid of Stress Awareness Month. This workshop is designed to provide guests with practical insights regarding the application of Yoga techniques for stress reduction. Vinyasa Restore Yoga is suitable for all levels of ability and provides various health benefits:
- It restores the Parasympathetic nervous system to reduce the tendency towards ‘fight or flight’ stress responses.
- Cardiovascular conditioning creates a conscious breathing sequence and balances emotional responses.
- It increases core strength and refines functional muscles groups
- Improves the quality of natural sleep cycles by reducing the production of stress chemicals and increasing positive chemicals such as Serotonin.
