The IBM iX everywoman in Travel Awards celebrate women excelling at all stages of their career journey, creating role models that will inspire future female talent. From apprentice or graduate, leader or entrepreneur, rising star or executive, the awards showcase the breadth of opportunities offered by a career in travel as well as the innovation and achievements that women in the industry are demonstrating every day. 2018 finalists were hand-selected by a group of discerning industry leaders including Chris Browne OBE, COO at easyJet; Jackie Wybrow, Senior Director, People Operations, TripAdvisor; and Jo Rzymowska, Vice President & Managing Director at Celebrity Cruises.
Everywoman was founded over 17 years ago by Maxine Benson MBE and Karen Gill MBE, who recognised the need to change the landscape for women in business. By setting up a forum for like- minded women to share experiences, opportunities and ideas, they provided a backdrop that enabled confidence and success to grow. It was through the relationships forged within this community that everywoman was born, and it is these diverse communities that continue to be the backbone of the organisation today.
