One of the most beautiful sights to behold in the Algarve is when the Almond Trees are in blossom, covering the ground in what looks like a blanket of snow. This inspired the lighting in the Amara restaurant.
Amara opened this week (Wednesday 3rd October) with an exclusive dinner for members and invited guests and it did not disappoint – nor will it, judging by the menu and wine list.
To start you could try Goats Cheese Panna Cotta with Beetroot Textures and a basil sauce or Oysters done 3 ways, follow this up with Seared Sea Bass and Scallops or a Lobster Risotto from the Seafood Menu or a Grilled Black Angus Sirloin Steak served with Parsnip Puree from the meat menu.
Desert, well, see for yourself…
Four Seasons Fairways wanted to create a statement with Amara, an elegant restaurant boasting some of the best views in Quinta do Lago. The restaurant is home to an intimate bar area featuring low hanging white Morwad marble pendant lighting by Tom Dixon, where guests can enjoy an aperitif before dining. The use of warm woods, crimson chairs, scalloped banquette seating and a large back lit customised panel give the restaurant a sense of drama.
